• Understanding business process management and business requirements, including various system integration and payment gateway/channels integration.
• Reviews project scope documents and works with respective teams to understand process and system gaps.
• Participate in requirements gathering for respective projects, including selecting the approaches and methods that will be used.
• Oversees completion of the requirements task, ensures quality and adherence to standards and provides coaching as needed.
• Evaluating the information gathered through workshops, business process description and task analysis.
• Works with internal and external customers as a member of the requirements team, collecting and analyzing business requirements for new implementations, ongoing projects and system enhancements.
• Produces detailed functional specifications used internally and externally, including technology teams.
• Participates in the review or technical design specifications to ensure the design meet the documented requirement.
• Supports in producing testing documents and test cases, and performs testing as required.
• Supports business teams and system development teams as required.
• Analyze existing procedures and evaluate requested requirements to identify system changes for new requests.
• Builds knowledge of industry topics and trends through internal training, external training and self-study, as appropriate.
• Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams.
• Performs other tasks and special projects, as required.
• Resolution (or timely escalation) of issues.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in insurance and/or consulting/administration, or related work experience in technology-intensive environment.
• Solid understanding of
- The Software Development Life Cycle.
- Object oriented analysis and application development techniques.
- Concepts in Service Oriented Architecture.
- Concepts in data modeling and relational database design.
- System integration and payment gateway/channels integration.
• Experience interpreting and developing structured and object oriented diagrams.
• Experience in payment gateway integrations and/or payment channel integrations.
