Business Process Documentation Analyst

• Facilitate focused and concise meetings with Project Lead, Clients and SME's, and other Vendors to identify and define processes.
• Document current and future-state processes and functional requirements.
• Serve as the liaison between the Finance and the IT development team.
• Consult with project stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
• Analyze data sources and data flows to identify data quality issues and make appropriate data governance recommendations
• Contribute to the overall maturity of the function through development of tools/templates and by providing education to peers and key customers

• Degree holder with Actuarial background
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant working experience in life insurance, product development or marketing
• Driven and motivated team player who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Action and project oriented individual with a focal point on improvement and change
• Past experience working in a startup environment
• Eye for detail and strong written and verbal communication skills is essential.
• Background in carrying out essential research and data collection
• Experience facilitating workshops and focus groups 
• Strong business/client engagement skills 
• Experience developing and interpreting business requirements 
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Visio, PowerPoint and Excel

Candidate will likely have product development and possibly actuarial experience from the insurance industry. Understanding of retail banking and exposure an added bonus.
